Would you like to serve your community, make new friends, develop leadership skills, and have fun doing it?
Learn more about the Clearwater Junior Woman's Club here on our website, or attend one of our regular meetings. You'll meet current club members, enjoy refreshments, and learn about how we help our community and what it means to be a clubwoman. You can become part of a tradition that goes back to 1889 when the General Federation of Women's Clubs was formed, and help shape that tradition to match the interests and lifestyles of women today and in the future.

Whatever your interests and experience, there are club activities for you... or you can start your own! We encourage our members to identify needs in the community and organize projects to address them. If you already have some ideas, you're sure to find plenty of willing helpers among fellow club members.
Please contact us by email (info@ClearwaterJuniors.org) or telephone (727-723-0888) if you would like more information, to receive a sample copy of our club newsletter, or to find out about additional club activities on our calendar. You are also welcome to join us at any of our monthly meetings or other club functions. Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month, February thorugh November, except May, July, and August. See the meeting information box at right for meeting times, location, and directions.
When you're ready to join, just complete the Membership Application and bring it to any of our meetings with your $35 provisional membership fee. Provisional members receive the monthly newsletter and participate in all club activities, but do not have voting privileges.
To achieve active membership, there are a few basic requirements:
- Attend 3 monthly meetings, complete 5 service hours, and 2 orientations OR 2 monthly meetings, 10 service hours, and 2 orientations
- Select a department on which to serve: Arts, Conservation, Education, Home Life, International Affairs, or Public Affairs
- We strongly encourage all of our members to serve on a Christmas Under the Oaks (our major fundraiser, an arts & crafts show) committee and participate on the weekend of the show
New members are encouraged to fulfill active membership requirements within six months to a year of joining the club.
Active membership dues are $48 per year, due in November for the following year. Active members are expected to attend regular meetings, department meetings, and participate in service work through their department and on club-wide committees and projects.
